La diff\u00e9rence entre le switch et le hub tient donc du fait que le hub envoie des donn\u00e9es vers tous les ports, ce qui entraine du trafic suppl\u00e9mentaire et non n\u00e9cessaire sur le r\u00e9seau.<\/p>\n<p>Sans le savoir, tout le monde a au moins un switch chez soi sur sa box internet. Mais un switch peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre un appareil \u00e0 part qui ressemble \u00e0 un boitier avec plusieurs ports Ethernet. Vous pouvez <strong>utiliser un switch pour faire communiquer les appareils entre eux<\/strong> sans acc\u00e8s \u00e0 internet (c\u2019est l\u2019intranet).
